In my spare time I volunteer with the nonprofit organization Scouts Canada. I have been volunteering as a scout leader since 2011, working with children between the ages of 5-17 years old encouraging the development of life/survival skills, positive values and success.
I enjoy camping, hiking, and hanging out with my dog.

Hello! My name is Abir Khreis & I am the supervisor at Uptown Yonge Preschool, which I recently joined this June 2024.
I have an extensive background and knowledge in early childhood education, a vast understanding of child development and mental health. I also hold a Bachelors in Psychology, that I recently obtained.
I have worked as an RECE since 2016 working in various settings and all kinds needs, such as childcare, Montessori, TDSB, YMCA, EarlyON, mental health centres and more.
Fun fact about myself is, I am a recent first time mom, I love to try new things (especially foods), and I am the oldest of 5 siblings.
