My name is Stephanie McPherson. I am a registered Early Childhood Educator, and also hold an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Child

Development. I have been working at Uptown Yonge Preschool since 2014.

In my spare time I volunteer with the nonprofit organization Scouts Canada. I have been volunteering as a scout leader since 2011, working with children between the ages of 5-17 years old encouraging the development of life/survival skills, positive values and success. 

I enjoy camping, hiking, and hanging out with my dog.

 I look forward to building positive relationships with you and your children and watching them grow throughout the year!

Hello! My name is Abir Khreis & I am the supervisor at Uptown Yonge Preschool, which I recently joined this June 2024.

I have an extensive background and knowledge in early childhood education, a vast understanding of child development and mental health. I also hold a Bachelors in Psychology, that I recently obtained.  

I have worked as an RECE since 2016 working in various settings and all kinds needs, such as childcare, Montessori, TDSB, YMCA, EarlyON, mental health centres and more.

Fun fact about myself is, I am a recent first time mom, I love to try new things (especially foods), and I am the oldest of 5 siblings.

Hello families, my name is Idil Gulerci. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator. I recently graduated from Seneca College in 2024 and have worked in Uptown York Childcare since then.

A little bit of personal information about me; I was born and raised in Türkiye. My mother tongue is Turkish and I'm fluent in English. I also know a little bit of German. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing and swimming.
